Cuisinart Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill (CCM-16PC1)
Almost as good as I expected
First off the grind you get from a burr grinder is superior to a blade hands down. This grinder makes a superbly uniform grind and the fineness/coarseness is easily adjustable. For the price this is an excellent burr grinder. Highly recommend it for your average coffee drinker. If you are grinding things finely grinding spices or flavored coffees or grinding lots of coffee read on for important details.
I was a little disappointed with the plastic grind hopper. Burr grinders I have used in the past were glass and while I didn't think plastic would be a big deal extremely fine grinds tend to 'stick' due to static electricity.
When doing longer grinds (for larger pots of coffee etc) the motor really starts to sound strained. I'm worried that with heavy use over a few months I might have issues with it. If I do I'll update this review.
*most* of the grinder is very easy to clean... however inside the base there are a couple of pieces out of reach and really fine grinds tend to collect just inside the chute that dumps the grinds into the hopper. If you grind flavored coffees (or in my case fresh seed spices) and need to clean it you might be a little frustrated.More detail ...

Cuisinart ICE-30BC Pure Indulgence 2-Quart Automatic Frozen Yogurt Sorbet and Ice Cream Maker
Awesome and Easy!
I purchased this after much debate about whether or not I needed a two quart ice cream maker or just go with the original Cuisinart $49.95 one. I am so glad i bought this one. It is so great. Easy to use makes alot of ice creamso sleek looking.
I have a tiny kicthen and everytime I turn around I am buying something that will clutter my counterspace but I have to say this I don't mind. It is square not to bulky and the cord fits nicely up inside the machine. It doesn't dangle or anything. It's right next to my KitchenAid.
I have made two recipes out of the manual that comes with the machine. I usually don't like "manual recipes" however these are fantastic. The Mango Gelato was a huge hit with family and friends. One girl who doesn't like ice cream liked it. The simple ice creams that dont require making a custard you just mix all the ingredients together and freeze I was thinking it would be terrible. It wasn't so you can make ice cream in 30minutes from start to finish with those recipes.
I do keep the bowl in the freezer like others suggested with the smaller ice cream maker. It has been very useful to have it already frozen when I am ready to make ice cream.
As far as noise it is not as quiet as I thought but don't let that scare you. It's not like turning on a blender and leaving it running for 25 minutes. It's not an annoying noise. Not like the old ice cream makers with the ice and stuff. It is fun to watch it churn too. So the noise just fades to the background.
It's very interactive and a great thing to do with kids and company.
I really can't say enough good. One of the best appliance investments I have mad yet.More detail ...

Cuisinart GTF Gold Tone Filter
EXCELLENT!
I have used this filter with my Grind-n-Brew for 2 years. I put it in the dishwasher at least twice and have never had any problems with it. I have no idea what these other reviewers are doing wrong but I love this filter. I never have grounds in my coffee. There is always a little darker/thicker coffee in the bottom of a good cup of coffee!
As for price $20 is NOT the actual price for this filter. $10 is the "real" price so you are not getting a deal on Amazon especially when you add shipping (unless you are getting free shipping). I have seen the same $10 filter at Wal-Mart Walgreens Ace Hardware and Publix.
Overall if you enjoy a good cup of coffee and do not want to put the chemicals added to paper filters in your body buy this coffee filter!More detail ...
Cuisinart CSB-76BC SmartStick 200-Watt Immersion Hand Blender Brushed Chrome
Ah hah I'm all shook up!
Well ok maybe I am not all shook up so much as BLENDED up. I purchased this immersion blender after my older no name brand unit purchased at Wally World died in the middle of blending a pot of hot soup. I like that you can wash the blenders blade assembly in the dishwasher and the stainless steel shaft is not stained like so many of the ALL PLASTIC models. Another thing I love is the power of the unit and the sharpness of the blades; they will reduce a pot of cream of broccoli soup to a smooth consistency in nothing flat.
Oh and when I say broccoli soup folks I MEAN broccoli soup. I put nearly two bunches of steamed broccoli in my soup and I only chunk it prior to blending with the immersion blender. This blender will puree` the soup to a perfect creamy texture in nothing flat. (Reserve a few pieces of the chunked broccoli to add back to the soup for texture purposes) I have also used it on my potato and asparagus soups with equally great results.
If you are looking for an immersion blender with lots of power and a "NO STAIN" Stainless Steel shaft then IMO you cannot go wrong with this model from Cusinart.
Happy Blending!
Ciao!More detail ...
